Sycamore Creek At Holt affecting Ingham County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Sycamore Creek at Holt. * WHEN...From early this morning to early Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Expect minor flooding of low lying areas adjacent to the river, in the Lansing Municipal Golf Course and sections of East Mt. Hope Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:00 AM EST Saturday the stage was 7.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 6.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early this morning to a crest of 8.3 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 8.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 8.3 feet on 04/06/1985. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the
ground and obscures visibility.
It is usually created when humidity in the air condenses into tiny water droplets.
Because of this, some places are more prone to foggy weather, such as regions
close to a body of water.
Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in
the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.
