DESCRIPTION: ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana...Illinois... Wabash River at Lafayette, Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site, Montezuma, Covington, Riverton, Terre Haute, and Clinton. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Illinois...Indiana... Wabash River at Mount Carmel. .Significant flooding is expected to develop along the Wabash River due to several rounds of heavy rainfall through Sunday. Additional rainfall of 2.5 to four inches in the upper and middle Wabash and four to seven inches in the lower Wabash is expected through Sunday morning, and this is all included in today's forecasts. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at Riverton. * WHEN...From Saturday morning until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Flooding becomes more serious. Water is approaching critical levels on most levees. Flooding enters some river cabins. Flooding is at the outskirts of Palestine and Russellville, Illinois. Flood waters near Illinois 33 between Palestine and Hutsonville, Illinois. Many local river roads are flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 PM EDT Thursday /9:00 PM CDT Thursday/ the stage was 10.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Saturday morning and continue rising to a crest of 22.3 feet Thursday, April 10. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Cumulus clouds are fluffy and textured with rounded tops, and may have flat bottoms. The border of a cumulus cloud is clearly defined, and can have the appearance of cotton or cauliflower.

Cumulus clouds form at low altitudes (rarely above 2 km) but can grow very tall, becoming cumulus congestus and possibly the even taller cumulonimbus clouds. When cumulus clouds become taller, they have a greater chance of producing precipitation.
